St. George's Dragons

Strengthening our St.George’s community is at the core of our school's values and strategic vision. One avenue through which we enrich our community life is through sport.

At St.Georges, we are more than just a school. We are a vibrant community of students, teachers, families, and alumni united by shared values of trust, respect, and honour. Embracing individuality and celebrating diversity, we cherish the unique perspectives and personalities within our community while fostering inclusivity at every turn.

The St.George’s Dragons is the schools official sports club, offering a diverse array of competitive and recreational sports for community members across generations, cultures and responsibilities.

Membership in the St.George’s Dragons Club is open to pupils, parents and faculty from all schools in the St.George’s family, with activities tailored to each school's unique resources and interests. Whether students, families, or friends, all are welcome to join this inclusive community, where members can connect with likeminded and passionate people, cultivate meaningful relationships, and participate in activities that support their personal growth and learning.

The club provides the professional environment and the facilities and tools needed to play diverse sports. It hosts inter-school sports tournaments and allows St.George’s pupils to participate in events on a local, national and international level. Beyond sporting competitions incorporated into the curriculum and under GISST, the club offers activities for all community members, that complement the school’s extra- curricular offer over the weekend and during holidays.

St.Georges Dragons fosters partnerships with accredited sports clubs, recognising their vital role in supporting the Dragons to achieve their maximum potential. Join us in embracing the spirit of camaraderie, sport and community at St.George’s!
