Bringing together a diverse group of students, educators, and community members, our series of conferences features thought-provoking discussions and inspiring presentations. From innovative projects to personal stories of perseverance and discovery, these events showcase a wide range of voices and ideas. They serve as a space for curiosity and open dialogue, celebrating the remarkable contributions of our students.
These speaking experiences not only help students gain confidence, express themselves, and understand their responsibility to inform and inspire others, but also strengthen community bonds and foster deeper connections among students.
The TEDx Youth club and events represent so much of what we stand for at this school. They provide students with a platform to explore their curiosity through research and critical thinking, to grow into confident and articulate public speakers, to find the courage to overcome their fears, and ultimately to collaborate and celebrate with our school community. Witnessing students become empowered and energised through this process, persevering, developing, and finally performing in front of an audience is always such a wonderful sight to witness.

Our recent TEDxYouth event was a pioneering assembly that showcased the ingenuity of young minds, centred on the compelling theme of "Embrace the Now," and explored the transformative power of living in the moment.
In a world where we are often hung up on the past or preoccupied with the future, we need to learn how to take charge of our narratives, recognising that our planet and our lives are full of opportunities. By reshaping the present, we have the power to create a brighter, more vibrant future and to shift our perspective, unlocking the boundless potential of the moment.

Supporting the TEDxYouth event has been an inspiring experience. Watching my classmates prepare and present their ideas has taught me how powerful our collective voice can be. More importantly, being a team that came together to support one another made it what it was.
